Carla Abellana, Tom Rodriguez say they had never broken up in their 7 years together

Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez are definitely relationship goals and they have just proven it with their almost seven-year relationship.

In an online interview with Nelson Canlas, the newly engaged couple revealed that they had never broken up or gone through a cool off.

According to Tom, Carla is the type of partner who is “allergic” to such things and prefers to solve things right away. “It’s really a testament of how she was raised.”

Carla, meanwhile, said that in order to keep a relationship going, you “fix whatever needs to be fixed” and never give up easily.

As they enter a new chapter in their lives, Tom said they still find ways to make their togetherness better.

“Even now, we’re learning new ways to communicate with each other effectively so we stumble every once in a while but at least, we’re not complacent enough,” he said.

“We want to get to that place where we are in harmony,” he added.

The couple shared their engagement on Sunday through their Instagram accounts and revealed that they had been engaged since October 2020.

They plan to hold their classic-style Church wedding this year once the country’s current situation gets better.
