Sophie Albert and Vin Abrenica reveal baby’s name, share birth story in new vlog

Sophie Albert and Vin Abrenica revealed their baby girl’s name for the first time and shared their birth story in their latest vlog.

The couple had been referring to their newborn as Baby A but in a video posted on Sunday, they revealed that her name is Avianna Celeste Abrenica.

In the video, Vin said the doctor told them that Avianna, weighing 9.13 pounds, was the biggest baby he has delivered in his 30 years in the profession.

Before the happy parents had time to celebrate Avianna’s arrival though, she had to remain in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for observation.

“Her oxygen levels go down and when they did an x-ray on her lungs, there’s still water which they say is normal when you’re cesarean,” Sophie explained.

Upon Avianna’s clearance from the NICU, she was able to spend time with her parents and got to experience “skin to skin” with her dad Vin.

The new father said that since holding his little bundle of joy, he feels like he could hold onto her and stare at her forever.

Sophie also shared the first time she knew she was pregnant after taking two pregnancy tests and a blood test.

“[They] came out positive. I honestly don’t feel anything at all. This is very surprising to me,” she said.

Although Vin expressed that he was “scared” during their first visit to the doctor, the actor has since expressed his excitement and love for the baby.

On March 21, he shared his “favorite morning ritual” with his newborn. They also shared videos of their preparations like trying a breast pump in February.
