As Ruffa celebrates daughter Lorin's HS graduation, she salutes single moms: 'The road is never easy but we persevere'
Ruffa Gutierrez's eldest daughter Lorin just graduated from high school, and on Instagram, the proud mother couldn't help but celebrate in a series of posts.
After sharing Lorin's yearbook photos and write-up, Ruffa shared a couple of shots with the graduate, wishing her well. "I will save the hugs, kisses and mushy messages for us in private," Ruffa said, adding the whole family is proud of Lorin.
"We will hold your hand as you move forward to the next chapter in life. Soar high! Follow your dreams but never forget…God first," Ruffa continued.
But it was her final post about her daughter's feat that truly made a dent on us. This time, posting photos from the celebration, Ruffa turned her attention to her fellow single mothers.
"Today I want to salute all the hard-working single mothers who have raised their children with courage and strength on their own," she said. "The road is never easy but we persevere."
"Keep the faith that God will reward our struggles with blessings we can’t even begin to imagine," she continued.
Lorin is Ruffa's eldest daughter with ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas. The pair's wedding was declared annulled in February 2012.
