5 Seconds of Summer singer Luke Hemmings and X-Factor US winner Sierra Deaton are finally engaged!

The couple took to social media to announce the good news on Wednesday.

“With shaking hands but a full heart I proposed to my best friend earlier this year,” Luke wrote, sharing photos of when he proposed to her with the mountains and skies as their backdrop.

“I love you Thao and I can’t imagine my life without you,” the Australian musician added.

Posting the same photos, Sierra said, “It was fun keeping this a secret for so long, but my heart is nearly bursting at the seams. Can’t wait for forever.”

Sierra rose to fame after she won the third and final season of X-Factor US when she was part of the duo Alex and Sierra with her former boyfriend Alex Kinsey.

In March 2020, Luke released his latest album with 5SOS called “Calm.”
