Saab Magalona covers Francis M's song '1-800-Ninety Six' to honor late dad on Father's Day

Saab Magalona went a little extra to honor her late father, Francis M., on Father's Day!

The "Cheats" vocalist did a cover of her dad's song "1-8000-Ninety Six" song while donning his clothes.

"In memory of Francis M, I borrowed your song (and your clothes). Happy Father's Day, Pops!" Saab wrote in the video.

Saab said her cover was arranged and produced by her husband Jim Bacarro and mixed by Kyle Quismundo.

Saab also took the opportunity to encourage people to register and vote for the elections in 2022.

"I went way outside my comfort zone to make my pop proud. Go out and vote: bit.ly/irehistro," she wrote in the description of the video on YouTube.

Saab's father Francis M died on March 6, 2009, after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in August 2008.
