Heart Evangelista's mom Cecilia has been single and separated since 2016

Heart Evangelista's latest vlog episode features her mother Cecilia and sister Camille bonding in the kitchen, cooking pasta.

In the video, Heart, Cecilia, and Camille talked about parenting, their memories growing up, and marriage.

In the middle of the video, Heart asked her mom, "Are you single or taken?"

Cecilia answered, "I'm happily single. I've been separated since May 2016 and I'm single."

When Heart asked for advice for married couples, Cecilia answered, "You have to have your space, allow each other to grow. That’s it."

Heart then joked and asked her advice for her marriage.

Her mom answered, "You're fine. You're happy."

When Chiz briefly appeared in the vlog, Heart's mom told them what she likes about their marriage.

"You allow each other to grow," Cecilia told Heart and Chiz.

Chiz jokes, "More me allowing her."

Cecilia said Chiz is already "full grown" but he never hinders Heart's growth.

"He allows her to grow and mature on her own," she added.

In 2019, Heart broke her silence about the relationship status of her parents when an Instagram user wondered why Cecilia doesn't appear in family photos.
