Kris Aquino, sons Josh, Bimby wave at supporters during convoy for PNoy
Kris Aquino and her sons Josh Aquino and Bimby Yap waved at supporters during the convoy for her brother former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III as they made their way to Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City.
The first few seconds of the dzBB Facebook livestream on Saturday showed Kris and her sons waving at the people lining the streets as they tailed the white coaster carrying the remains of the former president.
After the necrological Mass led by Archbishop Socrates Villegas at Ateneo de Manila University, Kris thanked the Filipino people for the outpouring of support following the death of her brother.
The coaster, which started moving at 11:25 a.m., was followed by more or less 50 vehicles and assisted by members of the Highway Patrol Group.
The former president’s remains will be buried alongside his parents, democracy icons Sen. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and President Corazon “Cory” Aquino.
