Kim Domingo writes touching message for late best friend on 1st death anniversary

A year has passed since Kim Domingo lost her longtime best friend, Gel.

The “Bubble Gang” actress just shared a photo of her late bestie on Instagram, together with a lengthy message of things she wished to tell him on his first death anniversary.

“Grabe isang taon na pala yun? Bakit parang kahapon lang?” Kim wrote.

[Has it been one year? Why does it feel like it just happened yesterday?]

The actress shared how she still feels Gel’s presence to this day.

“Una sa lahat, thank you sa palaging pagbabantay sakin. Oo literal bantay kita, pati sa kotse ko palipat-lipat kapa ng pwesto,” she added.

[First of all, thank you for watching over me. You are literally my watchdog, even inside the car, you keep changing places.] 

While she was thankful for Gel “looking after” her, Kim also hoped that her best friend has finally reached his destination.

“Kilala kita, Gel, hindi ka basta basta aalis pero wag mo na ako alalahanin, matibay na to!“ Kim said.

[I know you Gel. You don't just leave without any reasons but don't worry about me. I've grown strong.] 

“At talagang nababasa mo ang isip ko ha! Habang naliligo ako nagtatanong ako sa isip ko 'Andito kaya si Angel sa banyo? Hahahahah!’ At ang sagot mo 'wag ako mag-alala dahil hindi mo naman ako sinisilipan! Hahahahha! hayup ka talaga,” she added.

[And you can really read my mind, no? While in the shower, I was wondering if you were there inside the bathroom, ha ha and you answered, 'don't worry because I won't ever peep on you.' You're crazy, ha ha]

Kim also assured Gel that nobody could ever replace him in her life.

“Mahal na mahal kita bes, hindi ko man nasasabi sa 'yo at yun ang biggest regret ko forever,” she wrote.

[I love you, bes, even if I wasn't able to tell you this. That remains my biggest regret.] 

“Pero alam ko na alam mo kung gaano kita kamahal at kung gaano ka kahalaga sa 'kin. I love you forever kaibigan! Walang papalit sa 'yo,” she added.

[But I know you know how much I love you and how much you mean to me. I love you forever, friend. Nobody can replace you.]

In a post lat year, Kim said, her friend Zacharael Gelzz or simply Gel passed away after battling lung disease.
