Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez want a baby immediately: ‘We honestly don’t want to delay anymore’

Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez have revealed that they are ready and willing to have a baby as soon as possible!

According to Aubrey Carampel’s “24 Oras” report Thursday, the Kapuso newlyweds will have time for their honeymoon next year after their commitments with their dramas “To Have and To Hold” and “The World Between Us.”

However, they also said that they couldn’t wait to have a baby.

“We honestly don’t want to delay anymore,” said Carla. “Isa rin ’yun of course sa reasons talaga kung bakit gusto na rin naming magpakasal.”

In their first interview after the wedding, the couple expressed their happiness over finally being married despite the challenges due to the pandemic.

“We’re happy that we’re finally married, may blessing na kami formally,” said Carla.

“Hindi wedding ’yung end goal, hindi ’yun ’yung finish line. It’s actually the start of another race. Sabi ko nga, I’ve been looking forward to the marriage, not the wedding,” said Tom.

Carla and Tom tied the knot at a beautiful church ceremony in Tagaytay on Oct. 23. – RC, GMA News
