Yasmien Kurdi and Rey Soldevilla reveal they only spent P20,000 on wedding day

A lot of women dream of having a big, beautiful wedding, but Yasmien Kurdi got married to her pilot husband Rey Soldevilla in a simple ceremony for which they paid P20,000.

While giving a tour of their gorgeous new condo in a vlog posted this week, the couple revealed they got married in the penthouse cafe of the same building.

"We realized that we have to put our money dito sa condominium para hindi na kami mag-renta ng bahay," Yasmien said.

"Kasi, 'di ba, ang laki ng savings na matitipid namin kapag nakuha namin 'tong condominium na, instead na gastusin namin sa isang big wedding."

Now that they live in their dream home with their daughter Ayesha, Yasmien still dreams of a grand ceremony one day.

"[Although] hindi ko naman jina-judge ang mga taong may big wedding, kasi ako rin naman dream ko rin magkaroon ng big wedding someday," she said.

"Pero during that time talaga hindi pa namin kaya ng ganon kagarbong wedding. [Ang] priority namin, nilaan muna namin dito sa bahay namin.

Ayesha, who was lounging on a cozy bed right next to her, added: "If you're gonna have a big wedding, I'm gonna be the wedding planner!"
