Sanya Lopez describes her dream partner

Ladies and gentlemen, Sanya Lopez is now open to dating.

In an online interview with the press on Thursday, the Kapuso actress said she is not closing any of her doors to anyone who would like to pursue her. Her only request is that they be clear of their intentions.

“Ang hirap mag-assume na may gusto sa’yo yung tao tapos wala naman pala. ‘Di natin sure 'di ba so ang hirap. Mas maganda yung sigurado tayo,” said the woman who hasn't had a boyfriend since birth.

“Kung nagpaparamdam man siya o hindi, let me know kasi minsan [manhid] ako eh,” she added.

According to the 25-year-old actress, she tends not to think of any malice when someone, especially a friend, is being sweet. As such, it would be better to inform her of their plans.

“Mas okay sa’kin kung mas magiging open siya sa’kin sa kung ano ba. Ayoko mag-assume talaga eh.”

In any case, Sanya took the time to describe her ideal partner - one that will be supportive of her.

“Importante lang sa’kin yung mabait and matatanggap yung work ko kasi sa panahon ngayon, sobrang hirap makahanap ng taong maiintindihan yung trabaho mo and yung mamahalin ka no matter what.”

If she were to talk about physical aspects, meanwhile, she would like someone who is manly.

“Gusto ko yung mga lalaking-lalaki rin talaga, pang-action, malakas ang dating,” she said.

Despite all these standards, however, Sanya admitted to the possibility of breaking these when the right person comes her way.

“Sometimes kasi ‘pag masaya ka ro’n sa tao, ‘pag in love ka na or siya yung nagtatanggal ng lungkot mo, parang nawawala ka sa sarili mo,” she said.

“Isa ako sa mga taong natatanga raw ang tawag ‘pag in love o masaya.”

While Sanya's love life has not been possible yet, she's been taking the time to make her career bloom.

Apart from the upcoming “First Yaya” sequel titled “First Lady,” she will also star in “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko: Oh My Oppa” with Derrick Monasterio and Gil Cuerva. — LA, GMA News
