Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos say they don't act like boyfriend and girlfriend on set

After so many collaborative projects together, Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos say they've established a strong relationship — both off and on set.

In an internal press conference for GMA's "Stories from the Heart," the real-life couple admitted that working with a partner has its advantages, but they prefer to keep things professional by setting their personal relationship aside.

"'Pag nasa set kami... we don't treat each other as boyfriend-girlfriend," Gabbi said.

"It's more of you're my co-actor, I respect you. I'll ask kung paano mo aatikihin 'yung scenes, like that and, ayun, hindi kami masyadong girlfriend-boyfriend material sa set," she added.

Khalil agreed, saying they did not want to "limit ourselves to how we think as boyfriend and girlfriend."

"[We tell ourselves] let's collaborate... mapa-artista kami or kapag naghohost," the actor said.

"At ibang bonding experience din siya," he added. "Kaming dalawa, we find it as such a nice thing to do, collaborating with each other."

Gabbi and Khalil will be bringing the kilig once again this November 29 with GMA-7’s “Stories from the Heart: Love On Air," where they will star alongside Sunshine Cruz, Kate Valdez, Kiray Celis, Anjo Damiles, Jason Francisco, Yasser Marta, and 'The Clash' Season 1 alumnus Psalms David.

#GabLil previously starred together in the 2019 film “LSS,” where they played two people brought together by their love for the music of Ben&Ben.

The two are also set to star in their first official teleserye together, “Love You Stranger” coming soon to GMA. —JCB, GMA News
