What would Marian Rivera do if Zia told her she wants to be a beauty queen one day?

What would Marian Rivera do if Zia told her she wanted to be a beauty queen one day?

The Kapuso couldn't help but smile when asked about the scenario last Friday, after officially confirming she is a judge in the coming 70th Miss Universe pageant happening in Israel next week.

"Parang hindi ako handa sa question na 'yan," Marian told GMA press.

"Well, kung [anong] gusto niya, susuportahan namin siya, as long as maganda 'yung adhikain niya kung bakit siya sasali," she added.

As a member of this year's Miss Universe selection committee, the Kapuso actress is expected fly to Jerusalem and get to know the candidates one by one before a winner is crowned on December 12.

During the press reveal, Marian said she is thankful and honored to be chosen for such a rare opportunity, so she accepted the task wholeheartedly.

"Minsan ka lang siguro mabigyan ng pagkakataong makabilang sa isang mahalagang okasyon kung saan doon magsasama sama [lahat], at syempre, bitbit mo 'yung bandila ng [Pilipinas]," the actress said.

"So, para sa akin, isang malaking karangalan siya, kaya naman buong-buong puso ko talaga tong tinanggap," she said.

Dubbed as the one and only "Kapuso Primetime Queen," Marian Rivera is known to be one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in Philippine showbiz.

Apart from headlining multiple Filipino dramas over the years, she is currently the host of GMA-7's weekly anthology program "Tadhana," which features inspiring stories of overseas Filipino workers OFWs. She is also considered the most-followed Filipino celebrity on Facebook after hitting the 25-million mark last June.

Zia is Marian's eldest child with TV host Dingdong Dantes who is already following her parent's footsteps with several endorsement deals and fans online. She also has an adorable little brother named Ziggy. — LA, GMA News
