Neri Naig and Chito Miranda share family portraits as they celebrate their 7th anniversary

Neri Naig and Chito Miranda shared family portraits as they celebrated their seventh year anniversary.

On separate Instagram posts, the couple penned their respective essays to mark the occasion.

Neri posted a photo showing them as a family of five, with their sons Miggy and Cash, as well as their niece Pia.

"Happy 7th year anniversary, Dad! I love you so much!" Neri wrote in the caption.

"You are the best Dad and the best husband! Wala na kaming mahihiling pa," he added.

Neri expressed how grateful she is of her husband for being good to their family.

"Thank you for making us happy every day," she said. "Palagi mo kaming pinapatawa at hindi mo nakakalimutang ipakita kung gaano mo kami kamahal."

Neri ended her note with a joke, "Seven years na? Wow! Matibay-tibay helmet ko, haha! Joke lang! Mahal na mahal na mahal kita!"

Meanwhile, Chito also shared a family portrait without Baby Cash.

"Wala si Cash kasi siya 'yung kumuha ng pic. Joke lang, syempre... nauna na iya sa room kasi maaga syang nalasing," he quipped.

Chito said he loves having a family.

"Sobrang enjoy lang. Para kang may permanent barkada na kapakanan at kaligayahan lang nila ang priority mo. It makes everything in life so simple," he wrote.

Chito said he had "no idea it would be this much fun." He said he had a cousin who already told him that it was fun to have a family, but he didn't mind what his cousin said because he was young back then.

"I guess wala pa sa sistema ko dati kasi I was young, and had different priorities," he said.

Chito advised other people to never let anyone rush them into things like getting married and starting a family.

"Kanya-kanyang timing lang talaga, I guess... and you should never let anyone (including your parents at 'yung makulit mo na Tita), rush you into things," he added. "'Yung mga tipong "o... bakit di ka pa mag-asawa?" or "o... di pa ba kayo mag-be-baby?"

Chito said people will just know when they are ready.

"And when you eventually are, sobrang saya ng experience kasi 'yun na mismo 'yung gusto mo sa buhay," he said.

"Kung hindi pareho 'yung trip mo sa trip ng iba, at may iba kang gusto sa buhay (example, maging single for life at mag-travel lang forever), don't let anyone pressure you into doing something else," he added.

According to Chito, life should be fun and only the people themselves would know what would make them happy.

"For me, more than anything, eto na 'yun," he said.

Chito and Neri tied the knot in 2014. Neri gave birth to their second child, Baby Cash, last October. They have another child named Miggy, who they welcomed in 2016.
