HyunA and Dawn, whose real names are Kim Jyun-ah and Kim Kyo-jong, made their relationship public in 2018, but they reportedly began dating in 2016. HyunA was a member of the girl group 4Minute while Dawn was a part of the boy band Pentagon.

They were previously signed with Cube Entertainment until they left and signed with PSY’s label P NATION in 2019.
