Ina Feleo shares a clip from her late father Johnny Delgado's last film which she directed in 2009

Ina Feleo paid a tribute to her late father Johnny Delgado on his birthday.

On Instagram, the actress shared a clip from her late father Johnny Delgado's last film which she said she directed in 2009.

"A clip from, LABING LABING, a short film I directed in 2009 where I casted my parents as the two leads," Ina wrote in the video post.

"This also turned out to be daddy's last film," she added. "After this he said, 'Gawa pa tayo. Gusto ko sayo na lang ako aarte.'"

Ina said she feels sad thinking that this was the only film he had with him, "but I am also so grateful that his one-of-a-kind laugh is immortalized in this film."

“Happy birthday in heaven, daddy kong mahal ko," Ina wrote in the caption of her post.

"Wala siyang birthday today technically dahil leap year siya ipinanganak, pero babati parin tayo ngayon ng happy birthday sa langit, sa nag-iisang Johnny Delgado Feb, 29," she added. "I love you so much!"

Johnny, who was Juan Marasigan Feleo in real life, died at the age of 61 on November 19, 2009 due to lymphoma. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2008. —JAB, GMA News.
