Melissa Gohing on husband Rocco Nacino's birthday: 'You are more than what I prayed for'

Melissa Gohing dedicated a sweet birthday greeting for husband Rocco Nacino despite them being apart on his special day due to a lock-in taping for "First Lady."

On Instagram, Monday, Melissa shared videos of their sweet moments together as a couple.

"Happy Birthday mi amor! I know this is not how you thought your birthday would go down but as soon as you come home this weekend, we'll celebrate big time," Melissa wrote in the caption of her post. "Konting tiis nalang. Wag ka na mag birthday blues."

Melissa said she wishes that she is beside Rocco to celebrate his birthday as he turned 35 years old.

"This is the first time we're apart on your special day, but know that deep down in my heart I'm so happy to celebrate your born day because I was able to have met a wonderful, hard-working, loving & caring man in my life," she wrote.

"You are more than what I prayed for God and I'm always grateful for that," she added.

Melissa ended her note expressing how grateful she is for having a husband like Rocco.

"Thank you for being you. I love you so much! I can't wait to see you! I miss you my love," she ended her note.

Before going on lock-in taping, Rocco posted a photo showing himself clinging onto his wife Melissa expressing how much he will miss her.

Rocco and Melissa, who tied the knot in a surprise ceremony last year, got engaged in November 2020.  

They celebrated their 1st year anniversary as a married couple last January.

Rocco is currently in lock-in taping for "First Lady" where he plays as Mayor Moises Valentin. —JAB, GMA News.
