Bianca Umali shares unforgettable thing her lola did for her during her early years in the showbiz industry

Bianca Umali featured her grandmother, Mama Vicky, on her latest vlog episode.

In the video, Bianca reminisced about what happened during her early years in showbiz and how her Mama Vicky played a big role in her success now.

Bianca said her Mama Vicky was the one who would accompany her to GMA Network when she was still starting in the industry revealing they would take the train going there.

The Kapuso actress then revealed that her clothes would only come from the wet market while others have clothes from sponsors.

"Dati yung mga damit natin dati galing palengke, siguro dalawa or tatlo lang sapatos ko noon tapos sila iba iba ang kulay," Bianca said in the video.

Bianca said there was a time when she and her Mama Vicky would go to the mall and visit each store to ask for their manager's number for a possible clothing sponsorship.

"Naalala ko pumunta tayo sa mall tapos pumasok tayo isa isa sa mga store tapos nagtatanong tayo ng mga number ng manager tapos tinatanong mo kung puwede nila ako sponsoran," Bianca recalled.

Bianca said it was only recently when she remembered that her grandmother did that for her when she was only starting in the showbiz industry.

The Kapuso actress thanked her Mama Vicky for being patient with her during those times.

"Kung hindi dahil sa tiyaga mo I wouldn't be where I am now," she told her grandmother.

Mama Vicky was the one who raised Bianca when she lost her parents at the age of 10.

Bianca's mom passed away due to breast cancer when the actress was just five years old. Just after five years, Bianca lost her father to a heart attack.

In an interview with Jessica Soho back in 2018, Bianca revealed that being orphaned at an early age "wasn't easy and it will never be easy until today. Masakit po siya and I will forever be incomplete." —JAB, GMA News.
