Ana Jalandoni shares details on alleged assault incident with Kit Thompson

Ana Jalandoni on Monday detailed the alleged assault incident with her four-month boyfriend Kit Thompson.

According to a report on GMANetwork.com, Ana was emotional during a press conference when she spoke up about the incident.

"Hindi ko pa kaya ikwento. Nasaktan po ako," Ana said while crying in front of the media along with her father, sibling, and legal team on March 28.

"Hindi ko po kaya [idetalye] pero sasabihin ko na lang po 'yung nararamdaman ko. Masakit po 'yung pinagdaanan ko dahil hindi ko po 'yun nakita, 'di ko inaasahan 'yung ginawa sa akin ng minahal ko. Wala pong babae na gustong masaktan [katulad] ng dinanas ko."

"Marami po akong pinagdaanan sa buhay, lahat po 'yun [nalagpasan ko]. Pero 'yung nangyari sa kanya, hindi ko po alam kung kakayanin ko. Hirap po 'yung isip ko, hirap po 'yung puso ko dahil nasaktan po ako ng lubusan," Ana said.

During the press conference, Ana's camp showed the scars and bruises Ana had from the assault incident, the report said.

Additionally, the report said that aside from her scarred face, Ana also had a bruise on her thigh. Her lawyer Atty. Faye Singson said there are "indications of strangulations" on her neck.

Atty. Singson also said Ana's right eye was also affected and is in need of a "medical attention na hindi panandalian."

Details from the alleged assault

Prior to the incident, Ana said she and Kit talked about getting married.

"Gustung-gusto niya raw po akong pakasalan. Sabi niya, mahal na mahal niya ako, ganyan. 'Tapos ganun din po ako sa kanya."

Following that topic, Ana said they talked about Ana's ex-boyfriend.

"Tapos po, may pina-delete akong mga pictures namin sa social media, naging okay naman po ang usapan namin," she added.

"'Tapos ang sunod na tanong niya sa akin tungkol sa ex ko. [Sabi niya], 'Iniwan mo ' yung ex mo, di ba? Hiniwalayan mo siya.' Sabi ko, 'Oo, ang tagal na noon, 2018 pa 'yan. Alam mo kung ano ang nangyari, kung bakit,'" she narrated.

In the ensuing conversation, Kit threatened Ana, "Sabi rin niya, 'Akin ka lang. Hindi ka puwedeng mapunta sa iba, akin ka lang.'"

Ana said she told Kit, "Mahal kita, hindi kita iiwan."

After their talk, Ana said she went out of the room to look for a signal so she can to talk to her friend about their recent vacation.

Since she and Kit had alcoholic drinks, Ana said she fell asleep outside their room.

When her boyfriend saw her, the actor carried her back to their hotel room where Kit started to get angry which later resulted in assault.

"Akala niya raw iniwan ko siya. Paghiga niya sa akin sa bed, sinampal niya ako, na-shock ako," she said.

Ana said it wasn't clear why Kit was angry, "Ang perception ko lang, akala niya iiwan ko siya dahil ginawa ko sa ex ko."

She also clarified that there is no third party involved in their relationship.

"Wala po akong ibang karelasyon, wala pong third party. Mayroon po siyang isang pinagseselosan which is yung ex ko po," Ana said.

Ana also admitted that she got married in America in 2017 but got separated after months.

"Pero hindi po kami nagsama sa isang bahay. Kasi, September 2017 yun [kasal]. December po kami umuwi ng Pilipinas. January 2018, hiwalay na kami," she said.

Despite what happened, Ana said, Mahal ko pa rin siya, 'di naman ganun kadali mawala."

She and her family are determined to push through with filing a case against Kit.

Kit has undergone inquest proceedings for violation of RA 9262 or violence against women and children.

As of the moment, Ana said, "Siyempre, hindi ko deserve 'yung nangyari sa akin."

"Hindi ko pa po iniisip kung babalikan ko. Ang iniisip ko ay 'yung karapatan ko bilang babae na hindi katanggap-tangap 'yung nangyari sa akin. Pero 'yung love po, nandun pa rin siya," she added.

When asked what message she would like to tell Kit, Ana said, "Fix yourself."

Police arrested Kit last March 18 for allegedly assaulting and detaining Ana in Tagaytay City, Cavite.

Ana said she had a heated argument with Kit, which resulted in physical violence. He allegedly assaulted and punched her on different parts of her body. —JAB, GMA News.
