Winwyn Marquez opens up on struggles two weeks postpartum

After Winwyn Marquez gave birth to her baby girl Luna, the Miss Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 got real on social media on her struggles two weeks postpartum.

On Instagram, Sunday, Winwyn shared how baby Luna changed her world.

The former beauty queen said there are times when she finds herself under a lot of pressure and resorts to crying nonstop for days. But going through this phase, she has learned how to seek help.

"Because even if I think I can do everything alone and be a super mom (like I imagined while being pregnant) with my newborn—I can't yet," she said.

According to Winwyn, having people to talk to helped her a lot.

"Laking tulong may kausap na kaibigan and family, laking tulong na supportive ang partner... a simple hug and paalala na nandiyan siya malaking bagay na," she added.

Winwyn acknowledged all mothers who go through the same postpartum struggles.

"Madaming questions and fears pero please remember you are not alone. We can do this mama para kay baby kakayanin!" she said.
