Herlene Budol’s grandmother passes away, ending the Bb. Pilipinas candidate's hopes of her attending the pageant

Herlene Budol took to Instagram to mourn the passing of her beloved grandmother.

Sharing a photo of her Nanay Bireng, Herlene said she passed away on Monday at 9am.

“Sa nakalipas [na] isang buwan, matapang siyang lumaban sa kidney failure at sakit due to [aging],” she said.

Napaka hirap.”

Before ending her post, Herlene remembered how her grandma promised that she’ll attend the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 pageant, where Herlene is a contestant.

Prior to the passing of her grandmother, Herlene asked for prayers from her Instagram followers. The TV personality said she’d still like to give them a good life.

Among those who sent their condolences to Herlene were Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold, Arny Ross, and Faith Da Silva.
