Mo Twister grieves after pet dog Bamboo got stolen, later found dead in Las Vegas
Mo Twister is grieving the loss of their family dog Bamboo, who was stolen and later found dead miles away from their home in Las Vegas, United States.
On Instagram, the DJ said the English bulldog was taken by construction workers next door, who tied a rope on his neck and led him to a truck.
Mo obtained footage of the incident and confronted the men to ask for their dog back.
"It got tense and the police responded and because the law has to have certain elements to warrant a felony, we just didn't have enough—even though they admitted to stealing Bamboo," Mo narrated.
"They said they stole him but let him go down the street from our home because they panicked," he continued.
Bamboo's body later turned up far away from home, which Mo said to be an impossible distance for an old and nearly blind dog to have reached.
"He suffered. In this immense heat, stuck in a truck at 104 degrees outside. I know he ended his life like a person on fire," Mo said. "I feel like I failed him and I'm in terrible pain thinking I did."
Several celebrities and followers, among them Bianca Gonzalez, Ryan and Gabby Eigenmann, and Gloc-9, expressed their condolences to Mo after hearing about Bamboo's death.
In another post sharing a news report of the incident, Mo thanked everyone who helped their family find Bamboo and fight for justice for their beloved dog.
"While we continue to deal with our loss, I do think it's only right to tell you all how much we appreciate the level of support we have received from you all," he said.
"You guys are battling for Bamboo and we can't thank you enough."
