Sharon Cuneta reunites with uncle Tito Sotto after Eleksyon 2022
Sharon Cuneta has reunited with her uncle, Senate President Tito Sotto, after Eleksyon 2022.
The update came a little over a month after Sotto and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Sharon’s husband, ended their vice presidential race.
Sharing a photo of herself giving Sotto a hug, the Megastar captioned her post with a heart: “Daddy.”
As seen on Sharon’s feed, she also bonded with other members of Sotto’s family including his daughter Ciara, whom she called “sister.”
Ciara, meanwhile, shared a photo of her mom Helen Gamboa with her “Ate” Sharon. She captioned the shot with a Bible verse.
“‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God,’” she wrote, quoting Matthew 5:9, NIV.
In October last year, Sharon admitted to having a “heavy heart” when Pangilinan and Sotto both filed their certificates of candidacy to run for the vice presidency in Eleksyon 2022.
The two politicians lost to Vice President-elect Sara Duterte, who will be having her inauguration on June 19 in Davao City.
Last December, Pangilinan said he was looking forward to "reconciliation and forgiveness" with Sotto and his family when the dust of the vice presidential elections settles in 2022. —Franchesca Viernes/KG, GMA News
