Bettinna Carlos announces pregnancy after miscarriage in January
Bettinna Carlos is pregnant!
The Kapuso celebrity shared the news in a YouTube vlog, where Bettinna admitted this pregnancy is unexpected. It's been just around three months since they suffered a miscarriage when they found out, she said.
“My pelvic laparotomy was on January 28 so dapat July. Dapat next month pa kami actively pwede mag-try to be pregnant but you know, God is a higher authority and more sovereign over the doctors.”
“Si God talaga ultimately yung may hawak ng time,” she added. “On the same year that we had Wammy and we lost him, God gave this new baby to us and I am due to give birth in December."
She added that they knew her pregnancy was looking good during their first ultrasound, which happened exactly three months after her first child Gummy sent her a letter.
It read: “I’ve been praying for you. God is in control. I had a hard time accepting that I was still an only child. But God is still good. No matter what. I love you, Mommy, and you too, Wammy.”
Looking back on those events, Bettina had this to say now: “Sweet lang ni God to replace the pain of my daughter in this letter with this unexpected surprise three months later.”
She also made an announcement on Instagram Sunday with family photos on the beach, where she highlighted her baby bump in a one-piece.
Bettinna also used the announcement to pay tribute to her husband Mikki Eduardo: “Happy Father’s Day to this daddy of [two]! (Na ang lambing ay mang-asar, mang-loko, mang-prank, at mang-lunod).”
“We love you Daddy [Mikki]! Will forever be thankful it's you,” she added, tagging her significant other.
Bettinna and Mikki Eduardo tied the knot in December 2020. Gummy is 11 years old. — LA, GMA News
