Pokwang confirms split from Lee O'Brian: 'Maganda ‘yung pagkakatapos'

Pokwang on Unang Hirit Monday confirmed she and American boyfriend Lee O'Brian have split up.

In an interview with Suzy Entrata, Pokwang said it's actually been eight months since their breakup.

Asked how she's been, the Filipino comedianne said she was "OK na OK kasi maganda yung pagkakatapos."

"We're friends," she added.

According to Pokwang, she's been busy attending to her children. “Hindi ka pwede mag dwell sa past,” she said.

Ogie Diaz broke the news of their separation in a vlog post last Friday, but Pokwang had been unavailable for comment.

"Unang Hirit" was the first time that Pokwang spoke of their breakup. 

Pokwang and Lee met while taping for the 2014 film "EDSA Woolworth. They have a daughter together, the adorable four-year-old Malia.

Perhaps her career has also been keeping Pokwang busy as she announced her newest project on GMA: hosting “Tiktoclock,” alongside Kuya Kim and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.

“Ang Tiktoclock, abangan niyo ‘yan, mula Lunes hanggang Biyernes, 11:15 a.m. ngayong July 25 na po ‘yan,” she said. — Hermes Joy Tunac/LA, GMA News
