Arjo Atayde proposes to Maine Mendoza on the date she tweeted 'Arjo cutie'
Arjo Atayde proposed to Maine Mendoza exactly nine years after she posted the iconic "Arjo cutie" tweet that has become a meme for manifesting.
Since Maine tweeted it way back in July 28, 2013 and she eventually ended up dating Arjo in 2018, the word "cutie" became a way of manifesting dreams, wishes, and hopes on the internet.
Needless to say, the date is important to Arjo and he decided to pop the question on July 28, 2022.
"My turn, I will marry you cutie," he said on Instagram and wrote the date after.
Arjo also shared photos from his proposal, where a huge sign bearing the words "Will you marry me?" can be seen in the background.
Maine earlier announced their engagement with several photos showing off the ring in her finger.
Congratulations again, Maine and Arjo!
