Jennifer Aniston pays tribute as father John Aniston passes away
Jennifer Aniston confirmed on Instagram that her father and actor John Aniston passed away at 89.
No cause of death was given, but the actress said that John died on November 11 “without pain.”
On Instagram, Jennifer posted photos of her “sweet papa” from her childhood to more recent ones.
“You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace — and without pain,” she said.
“And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me [now.] I’ll love you till the end of time,” she added.
Jennifer ended her post by telling her dad, “Don’t forget to visit.”
John was a veteran actor best known for the long-time daytime drama “Days of Our Lives.” He has played Victor Kiriakis on the show since 1985.
According to CNN, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Daytime Emmys. He was unable to attend the ceremony, but Jennifer gave a moving speech about his life and acting career. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
