How does Marian Rivera manage her time as a mom, actress, and entrepreneur?

With Marian Rivera playing different roles even behind the camera—a mom, a wife, an entrepreneur—she needs to be on top of things.

In an episode of "Updated with Nelson Canlas," the Kapuso Primetime Queen said she gets to do this with time management and passion for what she is doing.

"Ang time management, mahalagang-mahalaga but ang pinaka mahalaga ay gusto mo 'yung ginagawa mo na parang hindi ka napapagod. Kahit sabihin mong napapagod, masaya kang ginagawa 'yon."

("Time management is very important but what's most important is you like what you are doing as if you don't get tired doing it. Even though you get tired, you are happy to do it.")

Marian said she also makes sure that she has time for herself. Most of the time, it comes in the form of spending some quality time with her loved ones.

"Marami akong time 'pag may klase [si Zia at Sixto]. Nandito ako sa office, isip ako anong next sa Flora Vida, dito ako nakikipag-usap sa friends ko or dadalaw sila Nanay, sila Mama sa bahay."

"Minsan nasa sala ako, 'yung mga anak ko, nagsi-swimming. Okay na me-time ko na 'yon kasi relax na relax lang akong nanonood ako sa kanila," she added.

("I have a lot of time when Zia and Sixto have classes. I'm at my office, I think about what's next for Flora Vida, I talk to my friends or my grandma and mom visit the house. Sometimes I'm at the sala, my children go swimming. That's an OK me-time because I'm relaxed just watching them.")

According to Marian, it does not matter to her whether she's alone or not whenever she tries to relax.

"Kahit wala akong me time, parang okay pa rin ako kasi happy naman akong kasama 'yung mga anak ko, 'yung asawa ko. Kahit mga helper namin dito, happy pa rin ako na kasama sila."

("Even when I don't have me-time, I'm still OK because I am happy to be with my children, my husband. I'm even happy to spend time with our helpers.")

Marian and Dingdong Dantes welcomed their first child Zia in 2015, then Sixto four years later in 2019.

In 2020, Marian launched the website of Flora Vida, which features her beautiful floral collection. She later expanded it by including a clothing line under the brand.

Meanwhile, Marian said she is currently working on a few projects for television. Despite this, the actress clarified that she won't be going back full time as her family is the priority.
