7 celeb-inspired Galentine's Day date ideas to do with your girl friends

Ladies! Don't have a date for Valentine's Day?

Why don't you celebrate with your girl friends this Love Month? The day before Valentine's, February 13, is Galentine's Day!

The unofficial holiday began from the series "Parks and Recreation," and now even celebrities make time to hang out with their best girl friends on this day.

Here are some inspiration from your favorite celebs on how you can spend your Galentine's Day with your barkada.

1. Girl talk

Sometimes, all you need is some girl talk. That's what Bea Alonzo and Dimples Romana, together with Beatriz Saw, did.

"I had such a great time catching up with my girls," Bea wrote on Instagram.

2. Throw a party at home

Juliana Gomez previously attended a friendsgiving party where she brought a bunch of sweet desserts. You, too, can throw a party for all your girlfriends at home.

3. Schedule a work date

Since Galentine's falls on a weekday, you and your friends may have to work. If most of you are on a work-from-home set-up, how about scheduling a work date together?

It may be easier to get through the work day with your friend there. Even busy bee Pia Wurtzbach could only see friends like Anne Curtis at work events, with Anne commenting that they should have dinner soon.

On Instagram, Pia wrote, "Happy to have reconnected with @annecurtissmith. What did we talk about? The NYC marathon of course."

4. Work out together

Need motivation to exercise? Has there been an exercise class you've been meaning to try? Then, why not call up your girlfriends to go with you and work out together?

Take inspiration from Max Collins, Michelle Dee, and Rhian Ramos, who all work out together.

5. Head to the beach

For Yassi Pressman, along with Liza Soberano and more girlfriends, they decided to hit the beach.

While they brought along guy friends like James Reid, you can still prioritize your gal pals and make it more of a girls' trip.

6. Go on a trip out of town

If you can swing it for Galentine's Day or some time this February, why not go on a trip abroad?

Andrea Torres and Kylie Nicole Padilla went on a trip to Singapore together. Kylie posted that they explored Haji Lane. The lane has a bunch of boutiques and hip food spots.

7. Visit a theme park

Maja Salvador went to a theme park with Maine Mendoza and MJ Lastimosa. At the theme park, they can be seen posing with minion characters.

While they went to Singapore, there are plenty of theme parks to check out locally.
