Would Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid change anything from their past?

Like every couple, Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali have had their fair share of challenges.

It is something the actors explore in “The Write One,” a  series that follows married couple Liam (Ruru) and Joyce (Bianca), who experience some intense problems in their relationship. Liam finds a mysterious typewriter that allows him to rewrite his love and life story. However, with this rewriting comes a whole new set of consequences.

If given the same chance, would Ruru and Bianca rewrite anything from their past?

“Actually, sa lahat ng mga pinagdaanan namin ni Bianca, I know hindi kami perfect,” Ruru said at a media conference at the Admiral Hotel in Manila.

“'Yung relationship namin hindi naman naging perfect talaga but alam ko sa sarili ko na wala akong i-re-rewrite kasi sa lahat ng mga pagkakamali na nagawa namin sa mga nakaraan, dun kami natuto. At 'yun nagpag-pa-stick samin kaya hanggang ngayon magkasama pa rin kami,” he added.

Bianca said that she knew Ruru would answer that way, and "I know that he knows I would answer the same.”

“No, we wouldn’t rewrite,” she added.

Joining the star-studded cast of "The Write One" are Mikee Quintos, Paul Salas, Mon Confiado, Lotlot De Leon, Ramon Christopher, Kokoy De Santos, Royce Cabrera, and Eva Le Queen, among many others.

“The Write One” premieres on March 18 on Viu and March 20 on GMA Network. It is the first collaboration between the two media giants. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
