Bianca Umali, Ruru Madrid once had a 'small fight' that led to them unfollowing each other online

Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid are not immune to misunderstandings.

“The Write One” director King Mark Baco revealed at a media conference on Saturday that the couple had a fight on set.

He said that a crew member approached him saying that Bianca stayed in her tent without talking to anyone and that an unfollowing on Instagram happened.

But despite that, he said that the actors still did their work professionally and gave great performances.

Bianca clarified that “it was a small fight lang naman. Hindi siya something na dapat maging big deal.”

She added that the unfollowing was a "spur of the moment, nasa height ng emotions."

“We follow each other na again," she said with a laugh. "Ang bilis kasi ng fans eh."

For Bianca, there is no such thing as the perfect relationship.

“You really go through mga maliliit na tampuhan, lalo na for us na we are together every single day working. So it's normal, I guess, to get burned out a bit pero okay naman,” Bianca said.

The two were able to do the scene, thanks to them separating their personal and work lives, with Bianca saying it’s “a skill somehow for an actor.”

“Nagagawa naman namin na hiwalay yung personal issues namin kapag nasa eksena kami. When we know we’re working, we’re working. Hindi makakahadlang kung ano man yung nangyayari sa ‘min off-cam,” Bianca said.

At the presscon, Ruru answered GMA News Online that although their relationship is not perfect, they would not change anything from their past because it helped them grow.

Joining the star-studded cast are Mikee Quintos, Paul Salas, Mon Confiado, Lotlot De Leon, Ramon Christopher, Kokoy De Santos, Royce Cabrera, and Eva Le Queen, among many others.

“The Write One” premieres on March 18 on Viu and March 20 on GMA Network. It is the first collaboration between the two media giants. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
