7 out of 10 Filipinos look for romance when traveling — Bumble

Finding romance while vacationing abroad? It's a yes for Filipinos!

According to a recent study produced by Bumble in partnership with YouGov Singapore PTE LTD, seven out of 10 Filipinos are likely "to seek out a holiday romance while traveling, with men (73%) being slightly more likely than women (71%) to do so."

The survey was rolled out online in August 2022 to 1,108 single Filipino participants aged 18 to 41.

From a global perspective, a Bumble survey of more than 14,000 people revealed that singles are after "an eat, date, love moment this year," with 33% saying they are more open to "Wanderlove," which is having a relationship with people who are not in their current city.

This dating trend is also apparent in the Philippines, with nearly 10% of Filipinos "believing it is easier to date in another country."
