Neymar issues public apology to pregnant girlfriend amid cheating rumors

Neymar Jr. took to Instagram to apologize to his pregnant girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi, amid cheating allegations.

In an Instagram post, the Brazilian soccer star said that he "made a mistake."

“I dare say that I make mistakes every day, on and off the pitch. But I solve my mistakes in my personal life at home, in my intimacy with my family and my friends,” the 31-year-old Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player wrote with a photo of him and Bruna.

"All of this affected one of the most special people in my life. The woman I dreamed of following by my side, the mother of my child. It reached her family, which is now my family. This reached its intimacy in such a special moment as motherhood, continues the player,” he added.

Neymar added that he has already apologized for his mistakes, but felt obligated to "reaffirm it publicly."

"If a private matter has gone public, the apology should be made public."

He then addressed Bruna, saying, "I can’t imagine myself without you."

"I don’t know if it will work between us, but TODAY you can be sure that I want to try," he added. "Our purpose will prevail, our love for our baby will prevail, our love for each other will strengthen us."

Neymar and Bruna confirmed their relationship in 2022. After a year, they announced Bruna’s pregnancy.

According to reports, Neymar’s cheating allegations started when he was reported to be caught having an exchange of messages with a lover on Valentine’s Day.
