Anne Curtis says 'each mom has their own unique and personal journey of motherhood, 'wag tayo mag-compare'
Anne Curtis may be a first-time mom but wow, is she a very wise first-time mom.
In an episode of "Updated with Nelson Canlas," Anne began by saying that "becoming a wife and a mother [has] really taught me to slow down.”
“Even more so noong naging mother ako,” she added.
According to the "It's Showtime" host, she's loving and enjoying her experience of motherhood. “Sobra ko siyang ine-enjoy and chine-cherish,” Anne said.
She pointed out that motherhood is different for every mom and that they shouldn't compare their journeys to one another.
“You learn on your own, and I also believe that each mother has their own unique and personal journey of motherhood,” the actress said.
“So dapat ‘di rin tayo nag co-compare and ine-enjoy natin ‘yung sarili nating version of motherhood,” she added.
To which we can only nod yes.
Anne and Erwan tied the knot in 2017. Three years later, they welcomed Dahlia.
Last March, Dahlia celebrated her third birthday in Tokyo Disneyland, wearing a Cinderella-inspired outfit. — Hermes Joy Tunac/LA, GMA Integrated News
