Sharon Cuneta emotional as daughter Frankie returns to the US
Sharon Cuneta turned emotional as her daughter Frankie flew back to New York for college.
The Megastar shared a photo of her husband Kiko Pangilinan and Frankie at the airport on Instagram, and said "it never gets easier."
Frankie has been studying in New York since 2019 but Sharon admitted she is still not used to the distance.
"Tuwing aalis si Kakie ko pabalik ng Amerika, parang pinupunit ang puso ko." she said.
“It never gets any easier…Such a loving and affectionate daughter and sister…tuwing uuwi siya tumatalon sa ligaya ang [puso] ko…tapos aalis lang uli…” the actress and singer wrote.
“Tapusin mo na yang course mo, Baba… Ayoko na ng ganito laging parang rollercoaster ride!”
Sharon added, “I love you with all of my (right now, bleeding) heart, my baby. One year na lang…”
She also turned emotional at how her daughter Miel will also be heading abroad for college soon.
“Ano ba yan tapos si Mielly naman! Waaaahhh!!!” Sharon said.
She also gave this short message to her mommy Elaine, “You were right, Mommy—mahirap nga maging mommy!”
Sharon and Kiko have been married since 1996 and have three kids: Frankie, Miel, and Miguel. They surprised Sharon on the set of “A Mother and Son’s Story” last June.
Sharon’s eldest daughter is KC Concepcion with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion. The former couple will be having a reunion concert in October.
