Kris Bernal welcomes first child

In an Instagram Reel, the actress introduced her daughter, who she named Hailee Luca. She and husband Perry Choi could be seen taking turns holding their baby.

“15 days with our #LittleSunshine, @haileelucca!” Kris wrote in the caption. “And, it has been the most agical days of our lives. After the longest pregnancy and hardest labor, I would do it over so many times to meet my #LittleSunshine.”

“The bond between a mother and child is one of the strongest in existence. I’m so inlove!!” she added. “It is a kind of love that is never understood until it happens to you."

Kris also said that her heart is so full and that “becoming a mother is the most rewarding and beautiful thing in my life."

She added that she and Perry are “taking some time to ourselves to get settled. For now, we’re really slowing down and soaking up every minute, cherishing it all.”

The couple announced that they were expecting their baby girl back in April. They recently flew to South Korea for a babymoon.

Kris has been open about her pregnancy journey, including the hormones and changes in her body.

She earlier said she hopes her baby would have her husband's qualities.
