Ryan Bang shares how he met his 'the one'

Ryan Bang made “It’s Showtime” viewers go kilig as he looked back on how he met his “the one!”

On Wednesday, Ryan and his “Magpasikat” teammates Anne Curtis and Ogie Alcasid delighted the show’s viewers with an uplifting performance.

Anne explained their concept started with "the world is healing" meme popular on social media. And then "habang binubuo namin siya, we realized there was actually a deeper meaning to it,” she said.

“With everything that is happening, we wanted to use this platform to reach out to people, to pray for everyone,” she continued. “For some, the world is healing na talaga, like si Ryan! Nakahanap ng — ”

“Yes, Ate Anne, kasi now I’m, Madlang People, healing by loving,” Ryan answered.

“Sa sobrang tagal ng panahon, alam naman natin, Madlang People, talaga, ang hirap pala maghanap ng ‘yung taong iibigin ko at iibigin ako,” he added.

[It's been a long time. We all know how hard it is to find someone to love and who will love me.]

The Korean noontime show host shared his quest to find a partner, eventually leading him to surrender and give up.

“Pero nung nag-give-up na po ako talaga, out of nowhere, nung naglaro lang po ako ng football talaga nakita ko ‘yung ‘the one,’” Ryan said, which had the crowd cheering.

[But it was when I gave up that, out of nowhere that I found her. I was playing football when I saw The One.]

“Naniniwala na po ako, Madlang People, ‘pag nakita mo ‘the one,’ talaga alam mo na, talaga may spotlight, may slow-mo,” Ryan continued.

[I really believe when you see The One, you will know. It's as if there is a spotlight on her. The world moves in slow motion.]

As a piece of advice to viewers, Ryan said to give your “hundred percent” when you already found your “the one.”

“Kaya gusto ko lang sabihin sa inyo na ang tunay na pag-ibig, hindi hinahanap, dumarating po,” Ryan said, which had the audience, including hurado Barbie Forteza, clapping.

[I want to say, you don't look for true love. it usually just comes.]

On Fast Talk in August, Ryan shared his desire to stay in the Philippines for good. He also revealed that he’s ready to settle down and live with his “forever Filipina.”

“Nakaipon na ako, Tito Boy, eh. Bata pa lang, sinabi mo sa 'kin, ‘Ryan, mag-ipon ka.’ Ngayon, nakaipon na ako, Tito Boy. I wanna live my life forever here in the Philippines with my forever Filipina,” he said back then.

Pep.ph identified Ryan’s girlfriend as Paola Grace Huyong, is a 28-year-old futsal player.

She even joined the noontime show’s host when they went on vacation while “It’s Showtime” was on a 12-day suspension.

The show returned right on for their anniversary, which they are celebrating for an entire week, with Magpasikat," a tradition, where the hosts form groups and prepare special presentations each day.

Ryan, Anne, and Ogie’s entry featured inspiring sing-and-dance performances graced by special guests, including Anne’s sister, Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

On Monday, the team of Vhong Navarro, Teddy Corpuz, and Jugs Jugueta opened the week-long celebration by bringing back Dolphy, Babalu, and Redford White on screen thanks to artificial intelligence (AI).

On Tuesday, the original Encantadia Sang’gres joined the team of Karylle, Amy Perez, Lassy, and MC for a heartwarming performance, with David Licauco managing to make a special appeance.
