Couple gets engaged during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film

It's a real love story at a local screening of "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour!"

France Edolmo and Mikkaela Jean Placides, who are both long-time fans of  the American pop star, got engaged while surrounded by their fellow Swifties watching the concert film in October.

According to Mikkaela, France timed his proposal to the line "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring" in the song "Love Story."

"That’s his cue daw po na lumuhod and ilabas 'yung ring," Mikkaela told GMA Integrated News. "'Yan lang inabangan niya ever since nag-start kasi daw baka makalampas."

"And then 'yun na po, I’m crying na lang bigla dahil sa mixed emotions then nagtilian na lang bigla 'yung mga Swifties sa sinehan and nag-flashlight and videos."

Mikkaela said the proposal happened at the SM East Ortigas on the eve of their third anniversary as a couple. France had two accomplices: one who held a flashlight and another who held the bouquet.

As seen in videos taken by several Swifties, Mikkaela was emotional as France put the ring on her finger. The whole cinema cheered for the couple.
