Matteo Guidicelli says first 6 months with Sarah Geronimo was most difficult part of marriage

Matteo Guidicelli knows very well that couples in relationships and marriages often go through rough patches together.

On Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Matteo was asked what was the most difficult problem he and his wife, Sarah Geronimo, had so far during their three-year marriage.

"I think, for now, the first six months when we got married, that was challenging." he answered.

Matteo added that it was because it was their first time living in one space together.

"There's a lot of adjusting, learning, listening. And after [those] six months, I think that made us stronger, made us better listeners, made me a better husband, made her a better wife, and made both individuals [better] also," he said.

Matteo agreed that the journey helped them become better and kinder.

"I think at the end of the day, it's very important to spread love and be kinder to each other," he said.

Matteo and Sarah got married in February 2020. Their wedding was filled with controversy after Sarah's mom reportedly arrived unexpectedly and was enraged at the event.

Three years later, Matteo said that he is prepared to become a father and that spending the rest of his life with Sarah is his ultimate goal.

The "Black Rider" star and "Unang Hirit" host also said that for him, marriage is "the best thing in life."
