Bianca Umali talks about time when she was ghosted: 'Napaikot ako eh'

Bianca Umali is the latest star to grace Luis Manzano's YouTube series, "Luis Listens."

During the interview, Luis recalled that when they worked together for "It's Your Lucky Day," Bianca told them about the time when she was ghosted.

Ghosting is a term used when someone ends a relationship by suddenly cutting off all communication without explanation.

"Akala mo dati that there was something going on, ta's bigla na lang you found out na wala pala, laglag pala," Luis said.

"Ako lang ang nakakaalam na meron pala kaming something," Bianca said.

The Sparkle star said she thought the guy was already her boyfriend.

"Hindi lang crush kasi sa 'kin, boyfriend ko siya eh," she said. "Napaikot ako eh. Like may days na, 'Oh, alam pala niya na kami.' Pero most of the time, 'Kami ba?'"

Bianca said the guy never really expressed his love for her, but she assumed that they were in a romantic relationship just because he was replying to her messages.

"He never said I love you, pero para kasi sa 'kin no'n, wala pa rin akong alam no'n eh. Like kung ano bang feeling ng gusto ka ng tao, na mahal ka ng tao. So, para sa 'kin, the fact nireply-an ako, 'yun na 'yon," she said.

When asked how she was told that they weren't actually a couple, Bianca said, "Actually, hindi pa nga niya binagsak. Tinanggap ko na lang kasi hindi na niya ako nireply-an. Hindi na niya ako nireply-an, so parang 'Sige, OK lang.'"

"Pero grabe, heartbroken ako nang bonggang-bongga nun," she said.

Bianca is now in a relationship with Ruru Madrid.

The couple celebrated their fifth anniversary in July last year. The actor previously said that Bianca is The One.

The longtime couple most recently starred together in "The Write One."

Bianca is set to star in "Sang'gre," while Ruru is the lead star of the action-packed series "Black Rider."
