After Jaclyn Jose's passing, Gabby Eigenmann promises to watch over Andi Eigenmann, her family

Gabby Eigenmann posted a tribute for Jaclyn Jose, more than a week after her sudden death.

On Instagram, Gabby posted a photo of his half-sibling, Andi, with her three kids and Jaclyn's other child, Gwen.

"'Wag ka na mag-alala Tita Jane ako na ang gagabay sa kanila... Mananatili ka sa puso namin at lagi kong ipapadama sa kanila kung gaano mo sila minahal ng lubos," he wrote. Mahal kita Tita Jane at ako'y nagpapasalamat dahil nadama ko din ang pagmamahal mo sa akin at sa aking pamilya."

"May ngiti na sa aking mukha dahil alam ko na mas masaya ka na sa piling ni God kasama si Daddy at Tita Cherie. Salamat uli sa lahat lahat..Cheers Love You," Gabby added.

Andi is Jaclyn's daughter with the late actor Mark Gil, while Gabby is Mark's son with Irene Celebre. Gwen is Jaclyn's son with Kenneth Ilagan.

"Love you kuya," Andi replied to Gabby.

Jaclyn, born Mary Jane Guck, died on March 2 at 60 years old. Andi revealed that she died of a heart attack.

Jaclyn's death was first announced by her agency, PPL Entertainment. The Philippine National Police said the family was convinced that there was no foul play involved in her death.

She left behind a stellar legacy in Philippine showbiz. Her notable performances include starring and supporting roles in films such as "The Flor Contemplacion Story" and "Patay Na Si Hesus." She also starred in several GMA Network series, including "Marimar," "The Millionaire's Wife," and "D'Originals."

The Eigenmann family, celebrities, and industry colleagues are mourning the award-winning actress and have paid tribute to her on social media.

Among the stars who visited Jaclyn's wake include Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, Andrea Torres, Gina Alajar, Gladys Reyes, Dominic Zapata, Ina Feleo, and many more.

Andi thanked Jaclyn's Kapuso friends, saying it's "so amazing for me to see how much you guys loved her so much."
