Miel Pangilinan marks 28th anniversary of parents Sharon Cuneta, Kiko Pangilinan with cute old photos, touching note
Miel Pangilinan is the biggest fan of her parents’ marriage.
On Instagram, Miel marked the 28th anniversary of Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan. Sharing her parents' photos, Miel wrote a lengthy caption of appreciation.
“Happy 28th anniversary, mama and dada,” she began.
“For the years I’ve been alive, you’ve shown me what it means to love someone — to love them patiently and perseveringly and unconditionally,” she added.
Through the kind of love that her parents showed her while growing up, Miel said she and her siblings “have grown into individuals with so much love to give.”
“In a world filled with so much hatred and resentment, thank you for showing me that love always prevails,” Miel said.
“Thank you for showing me that love always prevails. thank you for teaching me how to love, and what it feels like to have it reciprocated,” she added.
Miel, who bravely came out as queer in 2022, is Sharon and husband Kiko Pangilinan's second child.
Sharon and Kiko got married in 1996 and were blessed with three children: Frankie, Miel, and Miguel. Sharon's firstborn KC is her daughter with her former husband, Gabby Concepcion.
