Klarisse de Guzman comes out as bisexual, reveals girlfriend

Klarisse de Guzman has come out as a member of the LGBT+ community during the latest episode of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" aired Wednesday.

The OPM singer made the announcement during the task facilitated by celebrity house guest Michelle Dee, making the housemates talk about misconceptions about them.

Eh, obviously nandito ako, so, kaya ko?" she said.

De Guzman took a pause then said: "Tingin ko ito na 'yung time na sabihin sa inyo and to tell the world that I'm not straight."

During her confession, the OPM singer identified herself as bisexual and revealed that she has a girlfriend of four years who is taking care of her mother.

"I'm am bi. Yes, I have a partner of four years (and) her name is Trina.

De Guzman is happy that she is accepted by her family.

"I guess komportable ako sabihin sa inyong lahat with Michelle Dee pa. Hindi ko mahintay na ma-meet n'yo siya and I miss her. Sobrang suwerte ko lang talaga kasi tanggap ako ng parents ko," the OPM singer said.

"Hindi ako nahirapan sa phase na 'yun. Even some of my relatives alam pero hindi ko pa nga nasasabi sa work ko, so I am proud, love wins," she added.

Asked why she was afraid to come out before, the OPM singer said: "Natatakot po akong ma-judge, natatakot po ako na baka hindi ako maintindihan ng ibang tao.

De Guzman expressed how happy she was to come out and was thankful for the support of the housemates.

She is ready to face the public, confident and without any walls about her identity.
