Sharon Cuneta brings Kakie's Yaya Irish with them to New York to surprise daughter on graduation day

Sharon Cuneta and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan's daughter Frankie aka Kakie graduated from The New School in New York City last week.

The family didn't just fly to the Big Apple to attend Kakie's graduation at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn — they also brought Kakie's yaya with them!

On Instagram, the Megastar posted a snap of her daughter and her Yaya Irish's sweet reunion, and said "Our surprise for Frankie on her grad was her Yaya Irish!"

"We brought her with us because she has taken care of Kakie for years now and they are so close," Sharon added.

In the photos, Kakie and Yaya Irish could be seen sharing a big bear hug, and then Kakie posing with her beloved yaya, her head resting on her shoulder, eyes closed, looking secure and very happy.

Kakie previously made headlines after she spoke up against rape culture. She used the hashtag #HijaAko, which quickly trended on social media.
