Lotlot, Matet De Leon pay tribute to Nora Aunor on her birthday

Lotlot and Matet De Leon paid tribute to their late mother, Nora Aunor, on what would have been her 72nd birthday.  

On Instagram, Lotlot posted a photo of Nora’s tombstone which had a flower arrangement on it.

“Happy birthday in heaven, mommy! I will always love you,” the actress said in her caption.

Meanwhile, Matet also posted a photo of the Superstar’s grave as well as her black and white portrait.

Nora passed away on April 16 at 71. According to her son Ian De Leon, she died of acute respiratory failure.

She was honored with a necrological funeral service and was laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on April 22. Noranians also attended these events.

The Philippines continues to mourn the Superstar, and has been paying tribute through initiatives like film viewings, and even naming pastries after her.
