Mikael Daez on Megan Young's 20-hour labor: 'That birthing process is no joke'
Mikael Daez opened up about his wife Megan Young's childbirth in a new Instagram Reel.
The actor revealed that Megan was in labor for nearly 20 hours.
Megan's pregnancy reached 40 weeks, and Megan worked out and even sang some karaoke to help the baby on his way.
At the hospital, Megan first had an ultrasound where they learned the baby weighs 8.3 pounds, to the shock of the soon-to-be parents.
“I guess this is officially labor," Mikael said once they were settled in the hospital room. "Hindi ko alam na ang daming gaming time pala during this portion but syempre, inalagaan ko rin si Bonez tuwing nahihirapan siya.”
The couple finally met their baby boy after the 20-hour labor.
In his caption, Michael wrote, “I always wondered what happens during this time and now we have a story of our own to share.”
“To all the mamas out there, you are all amazing!!! That birthing process is no joke.”
Megan and Mikael Daez welcomed their first child in May.
The couple tied the knot in 2020 in intimate ceremonies.
