Shaira Diaz gives glimpse of preparations ahead of wedding to EA Guzman

Shaira Diaz gave her "Unang Hirit" Barkada a glimpse of her preparations early Thursday hours before her wedding to longtime boyfriend, EA Guzman. 

On Thursday morning, "Unang Hirit" host Kaloy Tingcungco visited the Kapuso Morning Sunshine in her room to check up on her and ask her if she had any wedding jitters. 

"Wala naman, parang okay ako, ready. Basta sinabi ko lang sa isip ko pagkagising ko, ang aga naman nilang dumating lahat," she said. 

Shaira also told  "UH" mainstay Arnold Clavio, who she referred to as their ninong, that she got to sleep at 2 a.m. today because she finished writing her wedding vows

"Tinapos ko po kasi 'yung vow ko, nagsulat talaga ako tapos bukod talaga dun, may pinaghahandaan talaga ako. 'Yung lagi nating pinagkukuwentuhan. Grabe ang pressure," she quipped. 

As for her vision for her wedding look today, the Sparkle star told host Susan Enriquez that she's going for a "dreamy" look. 

"Medyo may pagka-Korean dreamy look, basta gusto ko clean look lang. Fresh, syempre, glowing tayo dapat buong magdamag... Gusto ko very pure lang 'yung itsura natin." 

Shaira also told the "UH" hosts that she is beyond excited to be marrying EA today and to finally be able to call him her husband. She also gave EA a heartfelt message at the end. 

"Baba, mahal na mahal kita, alam mo 'yan, and I'm so excited na makita ka mamaya sa aisle syempre and I can't wait to marry you. I can't wait to be Mrs. Guzman, sa iyo lang ako forever. Mahal na mahal kita," she said. 

Shaira and EA have been engaged since 2021, but only publicized it in 2024.

They marked their 12th anniversary in February, their last as boyfriend and girlfriend, as they are set to get married on Thursday.
