EA Guzman on first night married to Shaira Diaz: 'Tinulugan ako'

EA Guzman and Shaira Diaz are finally married after 12 long years together.

On Monday's episode of "Unang Hirit," the newly-married couple shared their early experiences as husband and wife.

Regarding their first night as a married couple, Arnold Clavio asked EA, “’Yung pangako ba niya noong sa dambana noong kinasal kayo na magiging masaya ka na, kamusta ka naman?”

To which he replied, “Ako, magiging honest ako ah, pero grabe ang ngiti ko talaga. Pero ‘yung first night, tinulugan ako.”

“Pero naintindihan ko naman kasi ang aga niya nagising so naiintindihan ko,” he added.

His wife then said, "It's a scam," followed by a laugh.

Shaira and EA tied the knot on August 14.

The Unang Hirit barkada, GMA executives, and Kapuso stars were among those who attended their wedding.

Early on Thursday, Shaira shared a glimpse of her preparations for her wedding on "Unang Hirit," saying that she got to sleep at 2 a.m. that day because she had to finish writing her wedding vows.

Shaira and EA had been engaged since 2021, but only publicized it in 2024. Shaira previously shared that she wanted to marry EA after completing her college degree, a goal she achieved in August that year. —Hermes Joy Tunac/KG, GMA Integrated News
