Juancho Triviño, Joyce Pring weigh in on microcheating

Juancho Triviño and Joyce Pring shared some of their thoughts on the issue of microcheating in relationships.

The term microcheating refers to small breaches of trust that may not necessarily constitute an active betrayal of one's partner.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Joyce and Juancho agreed that microcheating is still cheating.

"Ako for me Tito Boy, how you do one thing is how you do everything. So there's no such thing as micro, macro cheating. Kung wala kang integrity sa maliit na bagay, wala kang integrity sa malaking bagay," Joyce said.

"Ako, feeling ko hindi naman mangyayari 'yung major cheating or 'yung macrocheating pag hindi mo ginagawa 'yung microcheating," Juancho added.

While some people let incidents of microcheating slide, Joyce said these can lead to a bigger issue for the couple.

"Parang that's kind of opening a small leeway for the relationship to go astray. So puwede din 'yun sa pera 'di ba? 'Ten pesos lang naman 'yung kinupit ko eh.' Pero pa'no pag naging 1 million na 'yun? OK ka lang din. Kasi 'yung 10 pesos OK ka, eh 'di ganun din 'yun," she said.

"Siguro for me it's putting yourself in the right situations," Juancho added. "Because if I'm in a wrong situation, let's stay inuman or something, may possibility talaga of that happening."

The couple said they take proactive steps to protect their marriage, acknowledging that temptation exists and leaning on their friends and family to help them stay true to their values.

Juancho and Joyce first got married in a small ceremony in October 2019 and later tied the knot publicly in February 2020. They have two children, Alonso Eliam and Agnes Eleanor—MGP, GMA Integrated News
