Dianne Medina mourns passing of father: 'Life will never be the same again'
Dianne Medina is mourning the death of her father, Prisco Tito "Antoy" Verzosa Medina.
On Instagram on Sunday, the actress and host announced that her father passed away on September 5 at the age of 71.
"We ask for your continued prayers for our family during this time of grief, and for the eternal repose of the soul of our beloved Dad," she wrote.
In a separate post, she shared an old photo of herself with her siblings and parents from their childhood.
"Life will never be the same again! I really really miss you Mommy and Daddy. I love you both so much!!!" said Dianne.
Dianne's husband, Rodjun Cruz, also took to Instagram to mourn his father-in-law's passing.
In his post, the Sparkle actor shared various precious photos of their family together along with a heartfelt message.
"Mahal na mahal po kita Daddy Antoy. Maraming Salamat sa pagiging tatay sa akin. Napakabait, solid at cool mo. The best father in-law ka po talaga. Sobrang mamimiss kita," he wrote
According to Rodjun, he will never forget the lessons he learned from Daddy Antoy. He also promised Daddy Antoy that he will take care of Dianne and his grandchildren.
"Forever kang nasa puso at isipan namin! Enjoy ka sa heaven [with] Mommy Vicky. Iyakap niyo na rin po ako kay Mama & Papa. Rest in paradise with our Lord & savior Jesus Christ. We love you so much Forever Daddy Antoy!"
The couple's celebrity friends extended their sincerest condolences and support, including Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Carla Abellana, EA Guzman, Yasmien Kurdi, Jackie Lou Blanco, and more.
